“UBC Baja is an engineering design team open to both undergraduate and graduate engineering students. It offers a simulation opportunity to gain real-world experience in the engineering design and build process. Participants deal with unexpected roadblocks and other challenges encountered in the process by working as a team to design and construct a single-seat all-terrain vehicle in time for competition. Along with the design and build process, students gain valuable experience promoting the vehicle, generating financial support through various methods and, above all, managing team responsibilities with academic and educational priorities.” – UBC Baja
